I have a 2006 buick lucerne 3.8l v6 engine,drive by wire. I am considering to buy hp tuners. I was told the pcm in those cars are not able to be tuned. On the supported vehicles list it shows the 4.6 northstar but not the v6.

looks like a standard E40 pcm so it should be tuneable
I searched on the topic too but found nothing on be able to read/tune those. The 2004+ computers in the grand prix, lacrosse, lucerne all kinda look alike and do look like the E40 but the computer is different. The pontiac computer is a P05 controller.
