Help Serial Data Class 2

Can HPTuners read the serial data Class 2 that is on pin 2 of the OBDII connector?

With older GM controllers (1998 to around 2006 ish) that is exactly what all tuning software scanners access - the Serial Data stream of data.

Some later GM systems used CanBus communications between the ECM, TCM, and various other modules, but retained some modules that continued to use Serial Data communications. If this is what you have, then tuning software scanners access the CanBus data stream - not the secondary Serial Data used by some ancillary modules.
