Problems with "professional" tune? Rough idle and light throttle surging

I recently completed a build on a 35,000 mile 2016 Corvette LT1 with A8 trans. Car ran just great before build and teardown showed very little wear. Build as follows:
10.5:1 pistons with H-beam rods
Brian Tooley custom cam I 227 E 244 LSA 115 ICL 110 38% fuel lobe and lift at .637 and .631
VVT and DOD delete
Johnson 2110 lifters with 7.825" push rods
LT4 HPFP and LT4 injectors
NGK 6510 plugs
3 bar MAP sensor
2" ARH longtubes
ProCharger D-1X with vertical cooler, red race valve, open race filter and 4.25" pulley
Mighty Mouse Solutions Wild catch can

Vehicle has no other mods. Fuel used is 93 pump gas.

When I picked the car up from the tuner the idle seemed rough. In gear and out. Light throttle cruising seems like it could be smoother. Occasionally on deceleration to a stop it seems as though the converter is staying locked too long, almost as if the car could stall. The tuner basically blamed it on the custom "big boy" cam. Full throttle pulls seem ok. The overall drive ability around town is just kinda brutal.

I'm attaching my tune along with a couple of log files. My question is, can my car be tuned better than this? Thanks in advance for any help that you guys could give me!

My best advice is get a refund on your money, and get a new tuner. The things that 100% need to be tuned, are not. Very sloppy. He set minimum timing just to get it to idle. IF he would have done just a little actual tuning, the thing would run better. Just so much wrong.

Thanks, Michael. I am in the SE Texas area. Do you know of any competent tuners in my area? I’m willing to travel but would prefer someone nearby.

My tuner knows that I was unhappy with his tune but has so far has refused to offer any kind of refund. Once I get a good tune I will offer to send him the new tune so that he can buy it (refund my money) for his own education. If not, I will out him on any and all LS related forums. He has a name in the LS tuning world but I think he just may not be up to snuff on the Gen V platforms. I tried doing my due diligence but was only able to find a single complaint. It was a communication problem and not tune related. It’s tough finding anyone that seems to know what they’re doing.

Its not that he needs to be educated on tuning a gen 5, he needs to not be lazy, and actually tune what needs to be tuned. Guys have become very lazy, and you could get away with it on all early models. the gen 5 stuff, you have to tune it properly, I.E. all airflow modeling needs to be properly dialed in, and agree with each other. if you do not tune vve on a gen 5 it will never operate properly. ever!!!!!
I would get it retuned, then bring to him and show him how a proper tune works, and how a "big boy" cam can actually idle and drive. I wouldnt let him pull the tune though. Your just giving him an opportunity to say this, that, and the other isnt right in the tune.
demand your money back. you paid for a tune, he gave you about 10% of said tune.

It is highly unlikely that any tuner will refund your money after they've given it to you, regardless of whether it's shit or not.

Just take the L and get it re calibrated. At least you went out of your way to check it and found what you did and took initiative.
