help with ETC cut out

ok guys I'm at my wits end with this I cant figure out why my drive by wire cuts out if I really get in it at around 6000 rpm my throttle cuts off and then the car is in limp and wont rev over 3000rpm it just starts sputtering, no check engine light and I've played with just about everything to no avail...please and thank you
