Cannot read 07 G35

I have a 07 Infiniti G35 sedan with a VQ35HR that I cannot connect to for reading or scanning. Build date of 10/06
First 10 of VIN JNKBV61E27xxxxxxx

Using MPVI2 with 4.0.12 and 4.1.338BETA

Is there anything special that needs to be done to connect to these vehicles? I get a message when i try to connect through the VCM Editor that says "Detect Controllers and get Basic Info Failed."

I can connect with my OTC scanner.

I have a 08 350, beta only works, you have to be connected to the internet, date and time need to be correct on your computer. Those are the only issues I ran into. I can connect, read, write.
