When using "manual" start record can't stop

I tried the app at autox today using the manual start. It said "recording" or something close to that.

Broke the finish lights & I could not stop the recording unless I killed the app.

I tried pressing the "record" button at the end as it seems logical to me, but nothing happened.

How do I stop the app recording session, without "killing it off?

Just press any navigation tab other than "Record", and that should manually stop it. Pressing the "Sessions" button should do the trick.
