2017 Sierra 6.2 VVE start of tuning questions
Hi all, I on and off tune my stuff and helped a couple local friends out so I only dabble in this but it has been gen 3 stuff and as noted the gen 5 is much different. I am reading and learning. I have only had this Sierra for a few weeks I assumed it has not been tuned but I am happy it runs well as is but I want to do some to it.
The tune is what I am starting with and untouched so the MAF is not failed or anything yet I just wanted you to check the log and make sure it looks right before I fail it then start my data collection.
Seeing most of this short log has negative LTFT also shown on my VVE graph does this indicate it definitively needs some tweaking in this area? Or would you expect this to change when I isolate the MAF and the SD side? I believe I cant use this as is but need to fail the MAF to start.
It is also very cold here this morning so I dont know it that will affect this or not?
Any other thoughts or suggestions would be great!
I also wanted to add in the log I kept the transmission in the "L" so I didn't go into the V4 mode. So for the real tuning should I stay in V8 mode? I know there are 4 VVE tables and have read to just do one and copy them all to be the same? That seems strange but I wouldn't know how to populate the other 3.
Thanks
Dave
