I had a Whipple SC installed last fall and it has never run correctly since the day I picked up from the shop / tuner.
It flashed "Service Electronic Throttle" and went into limp mode 3 times on the home alone.
It has a "stutter" at 2,000 RPMS just cruising 70MPH on the highway.
It would cut-out badly at WOT and throw random misfire codes. (Another local mechanic figured this to be shots of oil coming from Mishimoto catch can, a Mighty Mouse mild catch can with built in PCV system is on the way to hopefully end this issue once and for all.
The tuner sent me another tune revision last week and all issues are still present.
He attributes it to the Whipple 102MM throttle body being bad, but I've asked him for evidence of that as Whipple says they need some evidence it is throttle body related.
Then he says I have a fuel issue and need an upgraded fuel pump even thought my fuel pressure is always steady at 58-59 PSI and I've never seen it below 53PSI at WOT.
The tuner is almost non-responsive to me now, and to be honest I just kind of want to move on from him and get a second opinion and let someone else dig into it.
There are no tuners for MOPAR anywhere near Tulsa, OK to my knowledge.
