I have a 2006 Hummer H3 with an I5 and a 4-speed auto tranny. I would like to lock the torque converter in 3rd gear and in 4th gear for low throttle positions. Is there any harm if the tranny shifts from 3rd to 4th with the converter locked only at low throttle positions? I don't have an option in my tranny tables to lock or unlock the TC during shifts so I'm not sure what the default setting is.
