As of today's VCM Suite 3.4 build, there is a new parameter added that fixes the weird 4th and 5th gear RPM limit some of you guys have reported.
The Lower Clip parameter under limit needs to be raised up.

Ya thanks Eric. I had actually hunted this for a little while since we do a lot of half mile stuff. Found it over the weekend while the guys were in Ocala and was able to test it and it works.
Awesome! Can't wait to try this out. Had a customer shifting to 5th early last year due to this...
I wish I didn't have to wait a few more months for the track to open up here. Last year was a frustrating year at the track causing me to lose many races I should have easily won because of it. I'm so psyched to try out Eric's fix for these rpm limit issues. I knew he'd get it figured out :)

Can this be added to the 2014 SHO? I'm encountering Engine Speed Limit (Torque Source Error 4) when launching at a high RPM with my SHO.
Are you guys maxing this out or just raising it a little or what?
This parameter isn't available for the SHO EcoBoost, but I haven't tried 3.6 yet. Any word on whether this is available for EcoBoost?
I already did but it's been a few months with no word or update. Recall I had an Engine Speed Limit error launching too hard off the line with my SHO.
