How do I stop my A6 from going to 1st at a stop? Want it to stay in 2nd. I have 3.45 gears now and with the SC, 1st is useless....
I don't think it is possible, but not sure why. I have 6l80 on my truck and the lowest 1-2 shift point I can go to is 9mph. It might be a BCM thing, or just other code in the TCM.
The only way to start in 2nd is with TUTD.
So putting 0 in the 2->1 shift doesn't work? Works fine in my 6L90 (2013 ZL1 / HSV)
It was done with my SCT tuner...Long story why I changed to HPT but HPT tuner can't find it or won't do it. But he is a prick and I'll leave it at that....Quote:

Hope this points you in the right direction. There are 3 tables. If that doesn't work it might be an OS thing. This table is in a T43 TCM for a '13 ZL1 6L90.

its called winter mode, my 2016 truck will start in 2nd from a stop, my issue is it doesn't shift thru the gears in winter mode it just stays in 2nd, and you have to manually shift up
Compare against a LSA auto car. CTSV or ZL1 They use pattern B as normal mode. It will shift out of 1st the first time you leave but after that it will never downshift back to 1
