Speartech LS harness with HP Tune - How to get started to build the Cluster

Hello-
The hardware is a Speartech Harness for LS that is made from a repurposed GM ECU.

Speartech says they set up the ECU using HPTuner software

Here's where I am at, I need the PID mapping from the ECU to provide the cluster maker to then be able to display:
RPM
Speed
Oil Pressure
Coolant Temperature
MAF temp or other data off MAFS, mass air flow sensor
Perhaps gear

The point is that Speartech doesn't get into this field, and while they are using the HPTuner software, they don't get into PID mapping, and apparently don't need to either.

Does anyone here know where this data resides?

I can't be the first out there looking to be able to do this.

I believe the cluster uses 500 kbps 11 bit, at least that is what they have tested, does this make sense?

Most of that should be just generic OBD2.

This would be a pretty advanced project. Have you looked into dakota digital?

Yes, do not like what they have, and I don't recall that you can use your can data.

The can based clusters are out there, all sorts of SBC solutions with some compromises on speed or graphics.


I found the graphics that look good, the programmer needs the maping, where can I find the values?

Back at this again - PID mapping,
Does anyone here know where this data resides?
