Hi im new to the whole forum thing but i was raised around cars i love engines i love learning how to get more power out of them. I have an 04 2.2 ecotec cav an im undecided on weather to do turbo or supercharger. I would like someone to explain the pros an cons if you will of each and what adaptations would be required to do each build to a stock motor.
If you are no building the engine, i would recomend going with a supercharger from a Cobalt SS. Turbo you will only be able to run low boost before damaging your engine. On a supercharger you can run 2.9 pulley with cooling mods and be fine. Thats the setup i have on my 2009 G5 with the 2.2 and its a fun car. Can not imagine how fun a cavalier would be.
