Stock LT4, is it possible to take a log and then see Lambda target and actual lambda in vcm scanner?
I think I got one ok, I set it to EQ Cmd (λ) and can see data.
But how to see the actual lambda?

You don't, unless your vehicle has WBO2s. Unless it's a CT5 Blackwing or Escalade-V, it doesn't have WBO2s.
It is a cts-v, guess I have to install a wideband then..
Any prefered WBO2s?
How do you tune without seeing the actual lambda?
Use the AEM 30-0334. It communicates through the cars canbus and you can read wideband data through HP Tuners.Quote:

LTFT+STFT error. That only works for the closed loop regions though. Need a WB to get everything done, without it you're only guessing and the open loop parts are where the engine is making enough power to actually hurt itself.
Yes, it is in the open loop i am wondering how all tuners are tuning just based on logs without wbo2?
When you figure out how to tune the open loop/PE without a wideband, go file a patent for that shit. You'll be rich and famous and revolutionize the world of tuning.

Narrowbands are not linear, the voltage can only be used to tell stoich, richer than stoich (over 450mV), or leaner than stoich (less than 450mV). That's why all these systems go open loop and ignore the narrowbands in PE. Because they stop giving usable data anywhere except right at stoich.
