tring to find a issue

t42 susposed to be from a 09 3500 van with 4l80e
e38 for the engine
runs great but seems to be in high gear if you rev abit it moves , reverse is great
checked and tripple checked wiring
all i done was turn off vats and dod and done a write to all
any help
