Yes...it can be done. We're in Marietta and have done it multiple times. The non-ford "control packs" are usually Mustang ECUs with the extraneous stuff turned off. We've also simplified a stock...
Same here...
PM sent.
In my case, we ended up pulling some timing. Not sure why the 100 shot was so different than a 75, but in this particular case it was.
gotcha...so should I set it back stock or calculate flywheel tq from the dyno?
Thanks for the feedback so far guys, I appreciate it. I'll make some modifications to timing down lower and add some fuel and see if that helps. One other question - I've read people who argue both...
ok...so working on a 2016 Mustang GT A6 with an NX plate kit. Car is basically stock other than a JLT CAI - still has cats, does have an axle back exhaust. Sprayed a 50-shot on it with good results...
Appreciate the feedback guys. I have the remainder of the tune solid - the situation is that we did a cam swap in the car and the customer is looking for a little choppier idle than just the cam has...
won't that force open loop all the time? I'm just looking to have open loop at idle, transition to close loop at like 1200rpm.
ok guys...having an issue I can't figure out. Have a customer car we want for force into open loop at idle to help with dialing in the idle after a cam swap. We've been able to force open loop at...
Also, should mention it's an LS3 not an LS2, typo! I've also attached the tune....
ok...so I'm having an issue with the transition from startup to idle with an LS3 we swapped into a 70 chevelle. Car starts, runs for maybe 2 seconds, then dies. Almost like it's running out of fuel...
Update - it's running! Turns out there are some pretty major differences between the truck ECU calibration and the camaro. I ended up pulling down a stock 2010 camaro tune from the repository,...
I should also say, from the original questions...the oil pressure sender is NOT hooked up and I zeroed out the oil pressure min/rpm table. Another irritation is that almost without fail every time I...
also, car only has codes for fuel sender, evap and rear o2s.....no security codes.
ok, so I played with the car a little more today. I've attached a log of several start attempts. At one point, with the mass air unplugged, the car started and actually idled for a couple minutes. ...
As an update, I do see an RPM signal in scanner on occasion and I've verified the crank sensor is plugged in.
We're having an issue with an LS3 we've swapped into a 72 Chevelle. Using modified stock harness, stock ECU (from 2010 GMC Truck/6.2). I've turned off both VATS1 and VATS2, disabled starter checks....
