Doesn't DFCO also need tweaking/disabling as injectors turn off during decel?
Ah even the writeup shows logs with 1/1/1980. Would be nice if the date/time was correct.

Anyone know why my 2015 Challenger RT always shows a saved time stamp of 1/1/1980 but my 2017 Durango GT shows the correct date?

So after messing with the interface and standalone for half an hour I finally stumbled on the solution which support did not mention. When you update VCM to the latest beta you would think just...
So HPT support got back to me today. Apparently there is a 5.1.921.0 that was just released. Going to try it later today. If it does not work they are asking me to provided infolog of VCM suite...
I have the same problem as you show in the vid. Was wondering if you ever solved the problem? I submitted a support ticket but would have loved to include your vid but already sent the request. I...
Nope that did not help. Installed latest beta and setup standalone again. When I press the button the green light blinks and eventually goes solid green. Drove home from work and pressed the...
The beta version I am running is 5.1.849 but looks like there is a 5.1.918 that I will give a try.
So just today I tried standalone with my new MPVI3 and I get the same blinking green light that goes solid. Looks like I need to submit a ticket.
Yeah but on the hemis, if a lifter wipes a lobe there is high risk of the entire engine requiring replacement if metal debris is found on the oil control valve screen. Even FCA has a document...
Maybe the FCA workbook can shed some light?

As for phaser solenoids the is one per cam on the V6. Ignore the VVL...
Alfaobd has a brake calibration...never used it though.

Used alfa to enable launch control on my non-STP equipped challenger. Although one thing that it is missing is to be able to calibrate the ETC (at least not for GPEC ECUs)...for that I use HP tuners...
There are separate cam and crank sensors and depending on engine there can be more than one cam sensor. Go here if you want to know more about a specific FCA vehicle.

When I had a junkyard PCM unlocked by HP tuners for my 2017 DD GT I kept getting slow to respond cam sensor DTCs. After I performed a cam/crank relearn the codes went away. I also used the...
I have used HP tuners crank relearn which shows up in VCM scanner but I am running beta so that might be why. FWIW there is a program called alfaobd that can also do crank relearn.
No I was suggesting there are no tables in which vehicle speed is used to initiate shifting.
Maybe I am blind but I don't see any shift tables that rely on VSS but I do see engine RPM, and input/output shaft speed?
With alfaobd check if you are getting any codes in the BCM, PCM...etc. Also try doing an ABS initialization. BTW pay attention to what alfa states about going to the medium speed bus. If you have...
As for the phaser being disabled, my 2013 JGC 5.7 was bone stock and also showed it was disabled but it was not. Some years of the GPEC controllers showed disable when it is actually not. There was...
For an intro to tuning, these links helped me.

what interface are you using and in what mode...USB, wifi, Bluetooth? Also what does your advanced settings look like? Remember, alpha does not work with the HP tuner interface.

I prefer the PC version as I find the Android version does not always execute commands properly.

HP tuners and Tazer can't make the changes...only alfaobd or I think diagFCA can (I have this software as well but have not used it enough as alfa is my go to). BTW the launch control enable is only...
