Was able to tune VVE PE & MAF PE simultaneously after multiple viewings of the video as well as the posts in this thread and the 'What is dynamic airflow' thread. Had wideband in driver side upstream...
So running the engine with the remaining O2 (B2S1) still in the exhaust not powered up/not heating up will not harm the sensor?
Got my AEM 30-0334 & planning to use front o2 spot on B1. Will leaving B2S1 o2 in place while tuning damage it or will purposely putting the tune in open loop make it safe? Didn't know if I needed to...
Saw much improvement. There were only a couple minute blips in the 'Chart vs Time' that didn't register in the Graph cells at all. Looks like I am good to go. I attached a log of the flash you sent....
Newbie continuing with LS7 after removal of supercharger. After MAF & VVE tuning with narrowbands, trying to wrap things up with timing before proceeding with wideband tuning. Since my 'as found'...
The table I'm using is actually from a stock tune from the repository. My 'as-found' timing table (which was part of a Blower tune) was butchered so bad I thought I'd try starting from scratch. Thanks
Used your last Blended updated file, undid a couple other 'disables', cut the Catylst Protection back on, cleared the DTC from MAF being disabled & drove the car. It ran great, no DTCs and fuel trims...
Did last SD log. I thought trims looked good, what you say? You going to incorporate the latest corrections into the Blended file? Maybe I can go back into MAF tomorrow, just for a look see. I can...
OK so should I flash the SD-1.5-3 file 1st? Then you process corrections? Little confused...
OK, I'll do that log after traffic dies down, lol. You saying put spark back in? I ain't got a clue how to go about that. So we put the spark back in before MAF logging? Since I played around with...
OK, when you have time, check this log out. Looks decent to me. If you think it's time I would like to go back & do a MAF log just to make sure everything is up to snuff. Want to get a better...
No, I'm game for moving on. Going to do what is hopefully the last SD log using the narrowbands right now. By the way, I'm having trouble following what you wrote about pulling timing based on the...
Ok should I re-enable all the stuff including the MAF or should I do another log for SD tuning?
Looking back & reviewing older posts - Yep, that's exactly how dumb I was.
That flash worked good, not too much lean during my log, lol. I did activate my 'Offset vs Inj Temp' table after reading much discussion on the topic. Decided I'd live with the 'rich after flash'...
OK, sounds good. As far as the MAF curve, I'm completely innocent, lol...
Thanks for taking a look & also for the flash & comments. Appreciated!
I stayed with the LTFT+STFT Graph. I attached today's log & your file as well. IDK, I see other logs on this forum & most of them show LTFTs pretty much locked on zero. What do you think about the...
No, no, it's not a problem. I just want to understand what's going on. I'll monitor the easy stuff, if you will, concentrate on the important stuff, lol..., by the way, after turning those DTCs back...
OK, again just trying to understand how things work. I took the Parameter Access course yesterday & changed several DTC alerts in your SD-1.4 tune. I noticed today that your file SD-1.5 flash doesn't...
It seems that we are getting closer to where we need to be, BUT what are your thoughts wrt the log? I moved the cell count in the graph (SD, LTFT+STFT) up to 4 from 2. I know you can't believe all...
Was in bed & remembered I had left a vacuum hose disconnected from earlier leak testing. Hose was off during (1.3.hpl) log. I reconnected the hose & did another log, had not done another flash. Tune...
Got back in town & swapped 02 sensors side to side. Flashed your file & did what I thought was a good log using higher gears & applying brakes to simulate load. From the driver's seat fuel trims seem...
out of town, away from car & the stress, lol, for a few
Yeah, have been reading about using the Beta version from the very beginning but every time I tried to download/install I never could get it going. So you edit with Beta & flash with standard, ok, I...
