Log VCT Schedule on your scanner. You will see how each distance table works at which times and load vs rpm. O/S is used usually idle or off the throttle.

The air load changing is going to be from something physical like the BOV I believe you installed. The tune isn't going to change air load, only desired air load.

Just look at a roush or Whipple tune. Should help you
