Well the quick relearn procedure worked great on my car and the trans is doing fantastic with one nagging exception and that is when coming to a stop with foot on brake and no foot on the gas. More...
But I still need to work on the “coming to a stop” situation. Under anything but a nice slow stop you get a little rev and it lunges into first.
This wound up being a collapsed intake silicon tube. Just so happened to be happening at the shift points.
Ok got everything put back together and it’s back to hauling ass. I ordered a stock airbox from LG, used it with a K&N filter and all is good. Take note of the picture A&A shows in their instructions...
Confirmed the inlet silicon hose was choking it off. All good now.
I got the airbox all setup..the air filter that was on the car from the previous owner is nowhere near what works with this box so gotta wait till morning for the new filter. I’ve got a stock filter...
