These engines dont want much over 20 degrees. I know of some tuners who dont even add timing. Gm didnt leave a ton of power on the table on the Gen V's.
that is assuming you have raised your rev limiter correctly
zero the accel threshold rpm limit table. there is also a setting to "use predicted torque" that is enabled from the factory and i believe that is what your issue is. its not shift points.
