did you every figure it out ? i'm having the same issues. i read the last post about putting everything back to stock. i have a 2018 ss a8 with a 2650 maggy lt4 hsfp and injectors with a dsx low side...
i have a tune for your setup i have done a few. should get you in the ballpark. just keep in mind this setup had a flex sensor. Just open and compare 117826
do you have the correct info. the data they supply on there website doesn't seem to have the e38 data in it.

From what i have noticed all the "good tuners" don't have time to post information on this forum. Most of them have spend endless amounts of hours behind a keyboard and on a load based dyno to figure...
did you ever figure this out ? sorry to dig up an old thread but im having the same issue. on the dyno it was running perfect now breaks up leans spikes. same symptoms as you.
