will do, but i see you have some upgraded tranny parts..
i almost never drive in 3
and i do plan on upgrading the tranny sometime soon, but for now its up to the tune
2007 TBSS
Alright, these are the two issues that are bothering me about my tune. I cant seem to get rid of the slip bang 1-2 shift, and it seems more violent with moderate throttle.
Secondly, i...
i know they will never be perfect, but i can get them a little bit closer :D
still working at gettin these perfected.. is it best to have the truck warm before resetting the fuel trims and setting the learn on? it seems i get better numbers on those runs than the first run...
not so bad for my first try, and couldnt have done it without you. thanks for all the help. i will definitely be monitoring the ltfts for a couple days, and already thought about doing the multiply...
yeah, i wasnt sure about those max's...but i think its a lot better than before, it was running waaay positive before. [that is lean, right?]
and my 5800's do match
log
okay, so..i edited the tune per the steps russ gave me..
what kind of numbers am i looking for on the graph? 0s to -5s right? and that is the averages, correct?
ill post up a new log in a...
haha..now i am just horribly confused
i know ive asked a million times now, but does this look right besides the smoothing and matching the last and first number?
i dont want to upload something wrong to my truck
so do i need to be disabling the maf and copy over the hot to lot and all that other jazz as well?
i just want to get these trims in check...
and i thought i had it all figured out..now im just confused again.. :banghead:
alright, im pretty sure i got it down
did the above graph look like i was doing everything correct??
alright, for example, i changed the values of the low table based off the stft+ltft numbers, do these look right? [i will also hand smooth the graph a bit]
and the red arrow on the high table...
yeah, i know i have to match the last and first number, im trying to find out about chaning the rest of the values that i didnt get numbers for in the high table
agreed, his info has helped me a...
alright, i got that to work now..do i also apply that change to the high maf freq. as well?
and did my changes look like they were done correctly?
on the high table, i manually fill the rest...
alright, here is a scan, and the changes i made based on the scan, take a look at it and see if i am doing it correctly
i got the stft + ltft to show on the table, but it isnt plotting on the histogram, it says that it is unsupported
and thanks a ton in advance, you have helped me a lot.
its not a stock tune, so it was set at 45 across the board, perhaps i should change it back to 87 until i get the maf calibrated?
and hopefully one last thing, if i am using that custom PID, you said something about not having to worry about the ltft learn time, what exactly did you mean by that?
haha..no, that was an older log..i havent starting to try and fine tune them yet, but it seems even without going near wot, the kpa will exceed 55 and go into PE..so should i up it a bit??
aaand, should i up the kpa required to enter pe to help stay out of it??
here is my last log with the stfts and ltfts and the new config, but i didnt reset the trims or turn the learn on, wasnt sure if i needed to or not.
when im doing the multiply by % which values am...
