Might be less expensive to have someone next day expedite ship yours over buying the credits to license your vehicle to a different MPVI device.
You have to use editor to read the calibration from your ecm. Be certain you maintain good battery voltage during reading and writing. Use a jump box, extra battery, charger etc... whatever it takes...

Ah, yeah I don't use the feature and have a MPVI2 anyway. It's capable of standalone, but limited from my understanding.
