At what point of MAF error are yo chasing your tail? Seems like you should be able to nail it in one try if the scanner is giving you the correction %.
Is this also an easy way to change the AFR?
Never mind, I think it has something to do with using the beta. None of the maf reading stuff seems to work. I get a read only alarm when I try and save,

I had this same problem. I started adding 5% to the idle airflow until it smoothed out.
My timing idle is at 11 degrees pretty low. The tuner put the same cam in a Z the day before and it idles at 800. He thought I had a hole in the throttle body but I do not. he said he has never seen...
Still need ideas. My tuner said he has never seen this
Running airflow did not work. I kept adjusting until it started to surge. Any more ideas?:banghead:

I tried this. It seems to work better. I had to lower the CRANKING VE also. It was reading this table because it was richer then the Main VE. this makes no sense to me. If it says cranking should it...
If car is in open loop does it just read the VE table and nothing else.? If I shut off the 02 sensors the car will not surge. Another thing how do you tell when it is scanning if it is in closed or...
