Not sure why either... when you put the new tire size in and click "commit" or save or whatever the button says it will change both fields to the correct ratio...
Maybe not true.... My TCM went bad and the dealer replaced it and I was able to still load tunes without re-licensing the truck... From what I understood the license goes by VIN #... I could be wrong...
There are some on ebay, or if you go to dieselplace.com the forum vendors have them as well...
You can tune this out... but if your tranny is stock it will probably blow up...
The other option is go into the transmission diag menu in HP tuners... there is a section that shows commanded gear...
