50 bucks with shipping. sigh. What is the 15 pin head called on the HPT OBD2 cable? DB15PM? Instead of 2 rows it has 3 rows of male pins.

My bad. As always, I am making easy things complicated. Thanks for the easy answer.
thread from the grave (twice apparently), in searching I don't see where if we need to completely replace the HPT MPVI cable there is a place that sells them? Mine is damaged. That OBDII cable site...
Engine off, key off, what should I expect the interface to draw by itself?
Who do I contact to send it back for a look see? I did an amp draw test and the fluke says .85 Amps...yeah, AMPS not...
shweet deal!
BTW, being I never had to mess with 3 bar stuff...you mentioned you used 320 for the linear, I have been reading that 288 is the right number to start with. Then you do key on...
That screen shot is exactly what you are describing. The dyncylair is even 1.3x. That seems like a scanner issue and not a tune issue, I know you said you changed something in your tune and then it...
Quik I notice you never go over 132kpa in that scan. That'd be about 4.8ish #'s of boost. Did you go over that on the gauge? How about your config file? Do you know how to upload it so we can see...
If I recall, setting the target AFR to 13:1 (OLFA) just to get your P/T VE in shape is the deal. It's not just safer, but if you have no boost it will allow you to push the kPa. Hell, I'd shoot for...
yes
DAMMIT, I just typed a bunch of crap and i lost it. I am not typing it again.LOL
DFCO, this thread helped me a ton, but I'd suggest as you know, don't bother until you are happy with the inj's....
pat in the 400 and 800rpm min inj settings you have 1.27. Start ticking them down. Try 1.25, 1.20, ect until you see any difference. Same place to fix decel at this point as well, just higher rpm....
I would like to see what ve cell you are in at idle/park and idle gear
and then
vacuum kpa for each of those as well (of course if you just give me the kpa of the ve we can just subtract it...
can we see the current tune you got going that is causing this? ( ihad that too, I sorta gave up since I got too busy to tune my own ride)
btw, I didn't say go closed loop maf, just closed loop,...
Thanks for nothing. :yay: LOL
The cobalts only go up to 63? UGH.
btw, what formula did you use to get your IFR table. Post it up. I am so unfamiliar with returnless.
lots of questions, but no real answers until EC_Tune or one of the hero's answers. LOL Until then, here is more of my babble.
SJSchafer oh do I ever feel your pain. I have search and searched....
Good luck on determining...eerrrr getting a solid answer on how to figure short pulse adder. (as i said early, I deleted mine LOL).
I am saying your offset table...the slope, when you are in decel...
this should help a ton. VE edits (subtracting value) have no effect if you're injectors are just commanded to stay open to much in other tables.
I tuned it pretty well on the 42's. Damn well as a matter of fact. I am a "novice" tuner (if that, a "tuner") myself, I unfortunately don't have enough "working knowledge" of the lsx motor, or engine...
Yeah Pat, returnless systems need to be scaled. Just like your IFR table. At 58psi these inj flow 72.3, so scale from there IMO.
Here is my take on this.
1) Since no one has nailed these inj...
Hey Pat, I am leaving for a pig roast, but at first glance...your injector offset is super super low. Is it stock? Chat with ya tonight.
Oh and I have 72.3 in my return IFR table. You need to scale...
:banghead: :D
shweet, i've HAD that on my old lap top, forgot all about it.
My shit ALWAYS says 14.83. Shouldn't it be sorta different day to day?
ahhhhh, so it's adjusted. well kick me in the nuts...or not.
This needs to be a few clicks lower?
