That will work. L82 DOD is just 4 cylinders so only 4 caps are needed but you can just unplug them as they are powered ON, not off.

Heavy feeling? Also make sure for your converter lock up that nothing was changed there if you're pushing against that clutch it's definitely going to feel heavy
Old thread, but new logic needed fir the engine or just new logic for the E90?
Just wondering as I got an E92 and harness for my 2019 LT.
Havent installed it yet so havent tried to start it.
Following. I didn't start mibe yet but it's a 2019 GenV L82 but had a harness made for an E92 vs the E90. Hope that the harness was made for the V sensors vs IV
Are you buying E90's? Ill trade for credits.
I have a 2019 L82 5.3 LT.
It uses a GM 23262343 8 pin MAF/IAT sensor.
I am going to attempt to run a custom intake but with that, there is no real room for a longer, straight section of inlet...
I don't need the engine harness, that's taken care of, I need to wire the rest of the entire car so engine or generation wouldn't matter.
I have my 2019 GM 5.3 LT-680L trans going into my 55 Chevy. I'm finishing up the frame and drive train, and that got me wondering about wiring. Does everyone just get a generic harness and wire up...
I'm more into, teach me how to correct my tune so I learn something or point me in the direction to learn how.
I was looking to buy some credits for my HP tuners but had a question. The engine I have is from a 2019 Gen 5 5.3 Silverado. That came with an E90 ECM. At the time, those were locked. The guy who...
Are the E90's by themselves worth anything? Just wondering if I should keep it or hit the trash.
I have my engine and the ECM is already programmed to my specs, I found where I can bolt on a carbureted intake. I can hide the throttle body inside an air cleaner but then I need to figure out the...
I swapped the E90 for an E92 and had a harness built for the L82. VVT DOD delete with a cam.
For right now I just want to fire it and make sure it's runs before hiding the harness
I am ready to set my 2019 L82 5.3 in my frame. I have a new 6L80 (4x4) transmission but am waiting to have it converted to 2WD. Can I use an old 6L80 that I'm using for parts to just mount the engine...
Are stock E90's worth anything for a core? I know most have theirs to send in.,
Being new to this but seeing slight changes in model to model, I take it that the L82 will be the same as the L84?
I hear a lot of people talk about the VIN being on the block by the head.
My complete engine has numbers all over the place but they are all 16 digits, there is no 17 digits that corresponds with a...
Yes, you are correct, my E90 was locked so Kyle from LSX Specialties programmed a E92 to work with my engine and 6L80E. I did get the harness from him also.
(Now I'll have a E90 and stock harness...
I have a 2019 l84 5.3 rom a Silverado, It came with the E92 PCM. I got a E90 and programmed it for my engine. It was easier than unlocking the E92. (6L80E tranny)
I found out, money wise, Im just getting an E92 PCM and Ill sell the E90. It is easier to program. I also found that it IS a L84 with the dod after looking at lifters.
Does this cover the 2019 - Up yrs? I have heard that they are different (I dont know how) with the earlier Gen V's
Knowledge is money well spent.
#1 is there a way to tell from the numbers on an engine what Vin it is?
I have what I was told is a 2019 Silverado 5.3 L83 / 6L80E with a E90 PCM. I have not hooked up to it yet as it is all...
