Roger if i wanted to disable mine on a stock vehicle/ stock operating system ( listed below the pic). I am aware of the effects this would have on the tune, I'm just curious, is that all i have to...
I am thinking this man said it best......
send me your email addresses and ill email you my hist 09 gmc sierria 08 would be the same
Your vehicle should run a test after refueling, by using an algorithm to determine the correct Stoich/afr to command. (if you are tuning the truck in the picture)... however you can change it...
Recal MAF first... then if you want, Virtual VE... after that then i would start throwing some timing at her... :)
yea i have done it.... its the only thing i leave enabled... then most of the time i disable it with the switch but still have it when it rains...
anytime... we are all here to help one another... at least i am
Thank you for confirming what i had thought.... I wanted to make sure before i started to change it...
You want a copy of my stock tune?? If so i can post it(which is not a problem) or you can...
well in the tune you posted it says its shifting at 6400.. under transmission and WOT(wide Open Throttle)shift rpm, or full throttle shift rpm....
Every take a look at the tuning schools...
willing to help you out, but you need to be specific as to what you want to know..or what you need help on....
anyone?? any thoughts on the logic???

ha ha, just so happens thats my name... dont think i can change my display name, at least i dont see that option...correct me if i i am wrong...
I am trying to add some timing(not too much 2-5*) in the "alcohol correction pe/cot" table, for when i run E85..
what i am trying to do is bring the alcohol correction table ONLY when i have e-85 in...
just gonna throw this out there....hot to cold....
colder air is more dense... a little more fuel needed to compensate..
warmer air is less dense... a little less fuel needed to compensate
I'm...
i was talking about the other tuner that tunes for 10.1 afr... it wasnt pointed at you, i didnt realize i hit the quote button...
Might even want to bring a few spark plugs...might foul one or two..
oh wait he might have them new super E3 plugs.. i bet that is what he is relying on.. :drivin:
I am aware of that and totally agree... what i really wanted was your number so that i could try it. :yay:.. always good to have an experienced tuners secrets.. all bullshit aside.. Thank you
why not .85 lambda for E85??
Lambda=afr(measured/commanded)/stoich
.852 lambda = 9.765 stoich(perfect world) and EQ ratio of 1.173.....
so the afr=8.324.(commanded/measured)..... IN...
yea you do, its just in the VCM, not on the console like ours... :)
Well padna, thats what i do with mine.. i keep it on and turn it off via the button, but if he wants it off all the time, then do it that way.... Its all in whatever he wants for his truck...
just curious, what Gen 1 vehicle are you trying to tune?
disable them all, but leave "oil starve" wherever gm has it...by the way, what you have posted isnt really Torque managment, thats all Traction control parameters...
WIsh i could help you... maybe post the tune file or even a scan file...
