Thank you. On my previous Charger, a 5.7 with Apache intake, I had the runners activate on a window switch and didn't know if it was possible to move the activation point around on the 6.4.
Forgot to mention this is on a 2015 Charger Scatpack 6.4.
Where is the location, in the tune, of the switch rpm for the variable length runners? Any help is greatly appreciated.
George
Sorry for not checking back on this thread. I ended up trading the car in for a new Scatpack. Didn't receive additional insight before I traded it though.
What are the correct parameters to adjust for shift firmness and quickness? This is in a 2013 charger rt. A lot different than the GM stuff that I have worked with in the past. Many unfamiliar terms....
Ok Mark. Thank you.
So even though it shows disabled in the tune, it is still active because the later models do not have the ability to have it turned off?
I've tuned several GM vehicles and while I'm by no means an expert, I am familiar with them. The Dodge seems to be a completely different animal. A couple questions I have are:
My car, 2013 Charger...
Will do! Thanks again.
Okay, thanks! That's what I had figured; just wanted to make sure. I've got everyhting off now tuning VE table. What's the best way you've found to hit the most cells in an A4 without dogging the...
I did and was wondering why you made the changes you did? I know they are probably based off of experience, just would like you to shed a little light on them for me so that I understand. No hurry,...
I've searched and cannot find a suitable answer. Working on tuning my car with a wide band and understand part throttle tuning the VE table. Now my question is, when tuning WOT, will you hit cells...
Got to drive the car some today. Trans tune worked like a champ! When you get time I would like you to explain why you changed what you did in the trans tables. Works great and thanks again!
Thanks for the help. Don't know about the trans solenoid codes. Have owned the car since new and have never touched those codes. I did, however, have a mail order tune a couple years ago. Thanks...
I've never had a problem with this before. Don't know what the deal was. This is the tune I was working on. Found the calculated tire height problem when trying to trouble shoot my short shifting...
Thanks. When I set the tire diameter to 24.91 with the gears at 3.73, the calculated tire size goes to 34.03. When I changed the Trans Revolution/Mile and my VSS pulses per mile to the data from my...
Some how my Trans Revolution/Mile and my VSS pulses per mile got skewed big time. How I have no clue.
Why is my calculated height 34.03 with stock size tires and 3.73s? When I do this on other files I have, such as a friends WS6, the height is much smaller. Could this be causing a shifting problem in...
Thanks.
How do you use the PE error histogram? You use the AFR error histogram to tune the VE, which the PE will also fall in, correct? So what do you use the PE histogram for? Simple question I know,...
Okay, then that helps out a whole bunch then. Another question, when I'm trying to find the sweet spot with the spark at idle in the controls; I get surge in the idle. Even on the setting that it...
Okay, thanks. Got another question for you, how do you know when fueling is correct at idle. Not suppose to use the wideband, so what's the best method?
Bump for help.
Okay, I have Russ' Idle Config. downloaded. Did that a few months ago. My question is: how do you get all three in line? I would imagine that each one would affect the others. Which do you do...
Bump for a newbie.
