May not an HPT problem, but throwing this out here to see if others have had this problem.
Last night at the track I went to write a different tune and it made it through erase and about 40% into...
I can still spin at will in first and spin the shift into 2nd with those very tires. This includes some torque limiting in first or it would be a useless gear.
I certainly don't spin in 3rd and I...
I have a 2008 Sky Redline Auto, I'm game.
My 2000 SC1 gets 38-39mpg anyway, with 140k miles.
I'm about 1900'
I may take you up on a lookover after I do a little more work on my own. I would love to know what's good and what's bad. I'm mostly garnering information from these various LNF...
Oh I know there's no such thing as a universal tune -- at least not an aggressive one. I just can dream :)
As I continue to read here I'll get better, sub-5 seconds seems to be relatively common...
Wanna hook me up with a similar quality tune for 93 octane?!? I really would like to get down close to 5 seconds, I'd be thrilled in fact! I have stock turbo, full catless turboback.
It was 78...
Well a 6.9 60-100 doesn't seem all that great to me. It's really freakin hot out, but I was hoping mid-5's...
I guess I have a long way to go :)
Still debating whether I start with my own tune or start with a GMS1 tune.
Does anyone have a 2008 Sky Redline automatic GMPP tune? (Or Solstice automatic would be fine I'm sure).
Either way,...
OK Just made it through this thread.
I currently don't have the GMS1, but I will probably buy the sensors. Am I ahead to do a write entire of a stage 1 tune then start working from there, or am...
That's exactly what I did, but it really didn't seem to do anything. I think there's probably an actual threshold value stored somewhere that we don't have access to. We need to have access to that...
My LTFT stays -.5 to 0, but my STFT varies from -.5 to +6 as well. No aftermarket intake that should really skew it either.
I've got it working well. Running Ubuntu 8 on a Dell Mini 9 over WINE. See this thread http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?p=155741
The Opel GT is part for part identical to the Solstice other than the body and interior trim.
All OS's suffer that problem. Ubuntu 9 certainly won't run (default configuration) on the same hardware Ubuntu 1 would. OSX 10.5 won't run on the same hardware System7 ran on. However, they can...
I have no problems with Windows, I run it as my primary desktop, but I run Linux on my fileserver and my router. Now I run Linux on the netbook because it's lighter weight, but I still think Windows...
MSCOREE was what I was missing!
1.6GHz Atom with 1GB of RAM running this on WINE runs perfectly smoothly. No problems whatsoever. Thanks for all the tidbits guys.
It runs great, but I just ordered the Ubuntu one, then as an afterthought figured I could do HPT. I have the base base model except 1GB of RAM. I am sure that it would run fine if I could figure...
IIRC .NET 1.1 will install in WINE as well, I'll remove 2.0 and give 1.1 a go tomorrow...
I've got an Ubuntu netbook and would just love to see this working in WINE. No way I'm going to run VMWare on top of Linux on a 1.6GHz atom processor...
Let me know if there's any tricks you've...
Stock I can't make mine knock (on 93 gas at least). I would push it, but ideally you want 0 knock. Safe is relative, your engine is going to correct for knock, but you really don't want to tune it...
