thanks will do!
we are raising the redline only to have the car actually "remember" the old redline after the flash 1x then the new redline sticks?!?!?!?!?
Anyone else have this?
Also we had some saving file...
THANKS! anything else i should look at?
thanks, I knew the headers and exhaust would lower the boost due to less restriction, my question was If i remember right stock they make 9psi, so i figured that the pcm would not bleed off extra...
umm that would be the "tuner" I took the car to, he didnt exactly have a clue (evn though he had a good rep) which is why I was a bit upset with his work....thanks for the idea, but I will say that...
here is the modded file...
sure...
primarily looking for a way to restore the boost back up to stock 9lbs or so, since adding longtubes and exhaust the boost dropped from the freer flow, im sure the stock pcm is limiting...
This thing has more pid's than i have ever seen!
seem to have taken care of the ck engine light and set the fans to come on sooner.
also did some timing and fuel improvements gained 15hp but ran...
ok, now that got past that moment of terror, lol
well did a write calibration and it failed part way thru, we just tried a write entire and got it back up. Is there an issue with calibration writing of the pcm in the 09 cts-v?
Any Help Appreciated!
well i reset it again, seems to be staying off
took a couple logs of a hard run or 2 any input is appreciated, take a look, enjoy! :)
well i reset it once but didnt notice when it happened again, i believe it happened after driving a while, I know after the LT's and full exhaust it happened on the way home from Kooks...
I will...
wasnt intentional, best i could tell is it might have been a bad read of the tcm, i reset it by pulling the fuse..
here is the file, it does have the tcm settings now....
2.23.3316.7912
unless you had a download problem....
you need the latest beta to view....
ill try to take another read off the pcm and see if the file is larger.....
no they stay on (DTC's)
havent shut off yet.
Funny thing is they didn't come on right away when i picked the car up, took about 20 miles.
is this a tunable situation? if so what need modification...
well, no splices or extensions, looks factory....
i looked at the stock manifolds and pipes, the o2 is much further downstream on the longtubes, how do I compensate?
damn good question, since Kooks did the install, I will have to go under and look for a splice or extensions .
didn't think about that one
stock file is below
the headers were prototyped at Kooks in LI, Ny they did the install, George Kooks Jr says its a tuning issue, but my friend says its a hardware issue, so I am torn....
question is, is this fixable with a tune, what parameters need to be modified?
any help appreciated! can post the stock tune if need be! :)
Bill can I get the latest beta for the CTS-V support, last version I had gotten gave me HHR SS support. thanks.
