How come GM allows it?
The Dodges i've messed with have too. I do limited Fords so thats why I ask.
Thanks for the help!

Noticed I can't turn off the Check Engine light on the O2 Codes... They are blacked out.
Any way around that?
Thanks!
Scott
I made a update on the other post too.
In our situation to stop limp mode in a heavy car with different gearing we had to scale the estimated torque table down 10-15% from memory at the 40-90%...
Sorry I rarely have time for Forums anymore.
So what was going on with the RoadRunner was under 40% throttle it drove perfect... at 100% it also was happy.
But anything in the 40-90% it would...
Updated software to latest version... Same thing.
Pulled battery cable.. let it sit awhile. Fuel pump and fan came back on.
Was able to write it after that and we have a running car now.
...
Same thing here.... Finally read ECU and then won't fire Fuel pump now... Error message right of for writing ECU. All I wanted was the damn VATS off... FFS!
The new website is terribly user...
The Viper 2008 up are a push only ECM... You can not read them.
When you buy the credits you'll get a stock file to modify from there.
It's a PITA but it works.
I did a 08 Viper engine in a 68...
How about going all MAP base and forget the MAFS!!!!!!
I got ours ironed out... The drivers O2 is skittish but it is accepting it... We got a new ECM but like you said we could not program...
I'd love to see another idle scanner shot from a 08 and see what the DS and PS O2's look like... My drivers side is like a bar graph and the passenger side is normal.
Fixing limp is all with one...
Found the limp problem with our Viper Swapped Road Runner (2008)
That table you were talking about MeentS.... I got the MAF's with in 10% driving and no matter what it would still go into limp at...
Yes I did... All the wires have good connection from the ecu pin to the plug for the O2.... also checked to make sure none got crossed and go to ground or each other.
In the Chrysler Disk I have...
Found one issue... I'm down to the ECM being bad?
Have crazy static looking O2 readings on bank 1... Bank 2 is totally normal....
New sensor.. same thing.
Checked wires from ECM to sensor...
Ours is out and driving... Fighting one more issue with it on the drivers side O2.... I think it's the actual ECM that is bad.
Hope yours is going good!

Still hitting limp at mid throttle.... Normal driving is fine beating on it is fine... I can't give it back to the customer with out this being ironed out.
Hoping my friend from chrysler can help...
I can trace .70 Cyl Air Mass to the Desired Throttle % VS Area... It made 450 on the dyno.. which is exactly the desired torque at .70 where we had it set...
I'm thinking this entire table needs...
P061A is the one code that I'm having trouble with... I don't have the 101/101B at all.
I can get the MAF's a little closer.... One side STFT is 20% adding the other side is at 5-6% adding. I'll...
We have the RoadRunner up on the dyno yesterday with the 08 Viper engine.
If I leave the MAF's unplugged it runs and drives very normal but only 20% throttle.
I had to make my own MAF pipes......
Well... Our little RoadRunner Viper powered is up and idles... but I'm pretty sure the MAF scale needs to be learned/changed.
I don't have the stock air box... I currently have both of them placed...

Hope these pictures work....
53Mercury... Let me know when you get close... We have it all documented what we did.
Plan on doing one of these a year now that this one is up and...
Got it all up and working... waiting on the guy from Chrysler dealer to come down here for the Throttle re-learn and we'll be up and running for good.
We have a extra Hub module now Lol. :p
From What I've learned over the last week.... The system requires us to use the Relay/message Module from the 2008 Viper... (Under drivers seat)
This box takes all the signals from...
Speaking on this topic... We have a 2008 Viper engine in a 68 RoadRunner..... It Fires up for 2-3seconds... then stalls.... I'm sure it's the VATS.
I'm not sure how to hook up the Can/Bus from...
I have a 2008 G8 ECM that I'm helping a guy with... He had it to Lingenfelter to take the VATS out and ... I can't see that they actually did anything.
It will start for just a moment then die......
Very nice thanks!
