Sort of what I was thinking, or guessing as well lol. When I replaced the PCM on my wife's 07 Silverado I had to do that, it took 35 to 40 minutes to complete the entire process.
I currently have a 96 Z28 with a LS1 conversion. Just bought a 2000 Z28 and want to swap my other PCM (01 model) to my 2000 Z28 since it's already tuned for engine I'll be installing in the 2000....
So since my Max Pressure is 90 then the 96,100 columns don't get used correct? I notice all the shift pressure and pressure modifier tables use torque values on the x-axis. How does the pcm know...
I thought the x-axis on the force motor table was tps percent, instead of commanded line pressure. Oops
So since thats the case none of this really applies lol.. Sorry :doh:
Im not sure the exact year, but I have a 2001 LS1 engine and PCM. FLT built me this trans about a month ago, so any 98-02 f-body. I know when they build their 60's they set the max line pressure...
I get all that. What I dont understand is why its only .55 amps at WOT, and if that is normal. I figure it should be alot lower, otherwise there will not be enough pressure to hold the clutches...
