Yep, if all years are the same it should all work correctly. Do your homework on the wiring, I hope you have a 2wd truck!

I'm not too savvy with what exactly was done to the trans, but it has a Circle D 3200 stall converter and powerglide clutches...

No, t42 can be tossed and you will retain all functions if wires correctly.
