I managed to find a single EXE on the net with all the appropriate driver setup for XP. But i think all the drivers are on the supplied DVD or you can download them from their website.

Finally...

Well i finally ditched ubuntu and install XP (from a thumb-drive) it took over 24 hours to install! (usb in startup mode is terrible slow). But now it's installed, windows only takes about 30...

Well thats what i thought too but (as i think you now know) someone on the G8 board apparently knows that the G8 OS and calibration is totally different with nothing in common said prior OS or...

Can you "upgrade" say a 99 VT2 (Holden) LS1 operating system to something a little more recent? I noticed there are a few things missing from the older OS (enrichment attack rate for one).

I think our new crank has the LS1 style reluctor so we're ok there. We are using the LS1 knock sensors mounted on the side of the block (ala LS2 location) and using an extension...

We are going through the process of installing a LS7 block-based motor into a car that had an LS1.

We have used the LS2 front cover with the LS2 cam sensor etc.

Is there a known issue with such...

the scantool we are using had some new firmware developed, i'm not sure what changes were made, probably the same as what hptuners does, can't really say as no info was forthcoming from here.
