Yeah I've done GM stuff and this is completely different hah. You can use the file from the 2008, that's what I did and had no issues

I've got a 2005 B7 2.0tfsi and I've been able to read/log/and tune the car with HPtuners as an fyi
Yes, fuel filter and cam follower have been changed recently (within the last few thousand KM)
Oh and here I was thinking because I normally dont do a WOT pull from any other gears as low RPM wise...
And thats a physical limitation of the HPFP itself? Could it just be that its getting tired and showing its age? Sure its the original to the car and again, +210k km lol
Hahah oh I know it'll follow what its programmed to do, was just curious how much more usable boost the HPFP gets you before its just too much over-compressed hot air lol
I was looking back at the...
And thats just a quick spike or maintains and gradually levels off like it does currently? This car has like 210k km on her and I would feel bad for the turbo I think lol.. the new car on the other...
Most certainly understand and cant thank you enough for all the help! I truly do appreciate it and has given me a great guidance/amount to look over!
.. Out of sheer curiosity, how more much boost...
These are things I can maybe log in VCDS but correct in HPtuners?
And thats as the name sorta implies, keep cylinder temps down or .. ? (Probably a dumb question but I clearly cant make assumptions with this thing lol)
Hahahah oh god, I confused the two when I...
Better late than never  lol.. Yes, the car was using the latest tune at the time, but this new one is MUCH better (especially on the top end) :worship:!!
So took out some spark and made it...
Hey! Sorry to JUST be getting back to this, but this years been a crazy one so far lol. Attached is a log after the fuel filter and plugs were changed (cooper and one step colder)
Ahhh fair enough - perhaps thats why automatic editing doesnt show up. When I go into transmission on the tune, it has parameters for clutch protection and things of that nature; tune is originally...
Checking with VCDS, the ECU was coded to use an automatic (which is why im guessing it runs and drives fine currently), curious why HPtuners would still come back reading it as a manual.. ?
Oh its reads fine now that I flashed a 2.0l tune too it - unfortunately it was for a manual so cant edit anything with the transmission now, but car runs and drives fine
Attached is what...
This was the original read if youre curious, but I cant open it.
Lol funny enough, its the exact same tune you did for my other car :P (which I did a bunch of mechanical work on and got before and after logs, which ill post in the other thread)! I wrote that one...
Thinking about it, doesnt even need to be stock. Got the vehicle as part of a trade (told it wasnt running) and upon loading VCM scanner its showing up as 3.2L
VCM Editor is able to read...
Vehicle is a 2005, OS 8E0910115B if that helps. Any/all help would be much appreciated!
Have to say, its sincerely impressive how well you know these cars - I was making changes here and there for a month and youve done far more in a day lol. Honestly cant thank you enough
Car seemed...
Hey, so just got back from a drive with the tune you did last night - can definitely see more fuel! I also noticed that after logging a different IAT that theres a good degree of separation between...
And that was evident just in the tune or you have an idea as to what the typical pressures are and mine are just low?
Ill upload the new tune in the morning and take her for a drive. Most pulls...
Ah kk, obviously wasnt sure but thanks for the clarification!
Yeah, I looked again and wasnt able to find those unfortunately - guessing thats something id need to ask support to look into or .....
Ive actually found quit a few instances where changing something on one table goes and makes weird changes to other random tables - if you correct the Lambda Bias table so its linear itll go and make...
So how is it youre determining its overboosting? And that Lambda bias (ECM 14957) Ive noticed before the column values are all over the place and in the latest one you changed a few but its still not...
Yeah, when it first happened upon looking up the DTC code it basically said your ECM was pooched or if you have a tune revert it back to stock, so I guess its fairly common (like a compilation error...
