Installed 3.0 - had to download a driver for the interface to get the laptop to recognize the interface.

Not what I wanted to hear but thanks again!
Thanks!
Does that mean my interface won't work with a computer still running the 2.4 version?
So how do I get 3.0?
Thanks guys. I wasn't aware of misfires affecting TCC. Set up to scan for misfires and am getting a lot from #7. Put on a different plug wire, no help, went to pull the plug and it was loose. ...
In my 03 Avalanche daily driver it suddenly is only intermittently locking the TCC and doesn't hold it locked for long. This is in places I drive nearly every day that the TCC has always locked and...
I'd like to get this figured out, but it seems we've got some conflicting opinions on this.
I'm a bit skeptical of both opinions seeing that both are off an order of magnitude when converting from...
I think I finally figured out what was causing the TC Off indicator to come on by itself in my truck. I started seeing lately my ABS and Brake idiot lights coming on together, usually when braking...
I just put a higher stall speed torque converter on my 5.3L 03 truck, and it seems to be doing the same thing. I am not running forced induction.
Mine seems to clear out after 10 seconds or so.
So Russ, do you think the trucks' 5.3 timing should match your Z06's?
You don't get extra advance from PE, or have you zero'ed it out?
Are your timing numbers from a table, or are they what the scanner shows?
In my mind, total timing is the timing that the engine sees after the corrections that I noted above have been applied to the high/low octane tables.
On the same page that gets me to the high and low octane tables, in the middle of the page, there are sections for Spark Correction, and under that there is AFR Correction Base and Mult, IAT Spark...
Took me longer than 20 minutes. I thought it could have had a better diagram for tapping into pin 42 on the PCM, but I eventually figured it out. It's been working very well for me. On my 03 5.3...
Did they happen to identify what models supported this abuse?
I relocated the traction control button on my 03 5.3 liter truck. I noticed that when the switch module was unplugged, TC appeared to be off. This may be an option for you.
My high octane table tops out around 25*. Now that outdoor temps are dropping, between cooler IAT, 160* thermostat, and PE added advance, I've been seeing up to 32.5* WOT advance in the scanner. ...
The enrichment rate sets how quickly you get to your selected enrichment value. From the scanner, if you log FA Mult you can see this value ramping up when you go into PE, and then ramping down when...
I'm guessing your airflow calculations are 11-12% low. You can fix this by upping your PE ratio, but some prefer doing it by fixing the airflow calculations. I would recommend getting that right as...
I just let my AFR Spark Advancement Correction table take care of dealing with enriched and unenriched operating areas in my 5.3L.
Compared to what I'm running with my 03 truck 5.3, your idle spark tables are much flatter than mine. Don't know why that would only affect a hot start though.
Soundengineer - thanks a ton for opening my eyes with the histogram files you emailed me. I think I am going to tweak your MAF Air Flow - LTFT histogram by adding rows for FTCs. Your examples do...
Look at the graph in the attached file. It is an X Y plot of average (band 1 & 2 averaged) LTFTs vs MAF g/sec. Looking at this graph, I can see that I want to add a couple of percent to my MAF...
I don't think you quite understand what I was doing, but................
your comments did prompt me to play more with the histograms function. You were right about one thing, I didn't quite...
