I'll add to the question...
Any plans to support the 2005 5.3 in the GMT-360/370 that uses the E40 ECM and CAN protocol?
I assume I'll be able to at least scan with the new USB interface but...
That's not really true anymore. I can't scan my '05 Envoy Denali because the ECM is the new E40 and uses the CAN protocol. The scanner can't find the ECM. However I can scan my wife's '05 TrailBlazer...
I'm anxious to get into my wife's '05 TrailBlazer I6 PCM and the ECM in my '05 Envoy Denali 5.3l. As it is, I can't even use the scanner with my 5.3.
If you are looking for people who are...
Shipped mine late Tuesday evening via DHL. Tracking showed it was delivered yesterday morning. At 2:56 PM the same day I received a UPS tracking number for the return shipping and should be delivered...
Got my latest issue of Chevy High Performance yesterday and there's a great article about HP Tuners. Way to go guys!!!!
I got a chance to check idle A/F with my Zeitronix to compare to HPT. Just like the others, it wa off by 1.00. The display reads 15.6 - 15.8 and HPT reads 14.6 - 14.8.
BTW (by the way), WTF would be the proper acronym for your thread title. ;D
I have the Zeitronix but my car is parked for the winter. Once salt hits the roads, it doesn't come out of the garage again until after a good rain in the spring. I can offer to check my A/F at idle...
I have a Zeitronix WB but at this point I wouldn't recommend them or any other HPT non-native WB since only native WBs can utilize the WB histogram in the scanner. If you use an aux input and enter a...
You can manually enter the formula but only native WB's can use the histogram view, which is why we're asking when the Zeitronix WB will be native.
I've been anxiously waiting for this also. Hopefully the weather will hold out and I can test it before we get snow on the ground and the car gets stored until next spring.
Ken, any idea when we may see an update with the Zeitonix WB native? Not trying to rush you, just asking. ;D
You have to connect to your car with the EIO cable first before you see the AUX options. Once you connect the options will remain.
Also, please note that the bottom 6 cells are used to add the AUX...
Shipped it USPS Express Mail and it was delivered in two days, coming from a Chicago far west suburb.
I found DHL, FedEx and UPS won't deliver to PO boxes so the only option was to use USPS.
Is there any more info you need to add the Zeitronix WB?
You guys are the best!!!
It was a green paper document that came with the unit. I also remember someone scanned it and posted it on thirdgen.org. I'll see if I can find it for you.
Ken,
Thanks for the help. I jumped the...
I copied the values from the Zeitronix install sheet, not from HPT. I was at my desktop which doesn't have HPT installed. You're table is what I have configured with my HPT.
I just double-checked...
From the Zeitronix install guide:
V AFR
0.15 9.7
0.31 9.9
0.46 10.1
0.62 10.3
0.78 10.5
0.93 10.7
1.09 11
I noticed the same thing but I found that once the laptop has been connected to the car with the enhanced I/O, the WB options show up even when you aren't connected.
My support period ends in a few days and I'd like to extend it but there's still no way to do it at the customer login. I'm not in a hurry since I won't need it until the next release but I figure...
I got mine yesterday. ;D
Time to hook up the WB and do some logging!!!
They are sending out notices when your item ships. I got my notice yesterday.
Exactly what Magic said. There's no easy "tweak this number and then that number" to tune after a cam. In fact the tune for two cars running the same cam will most likely end up being different....
Damn, I wanted to ship my cable via DHL or FedEx today from work but neither will ship to a P.O. Box! :banghead: Guess I'll have to use snail mail. :'(
Just sent my payment in. Woo Hoo!!!
What's the estimated turn-around once you have our returned cable? Just curious.
