Is there any way to trigger a service regen using the scanner? Truck is a 2017 Colorado 2.8 duramax.
Actually, the 2.8 is a 4 cylinder turbo diesel, in the new Colorado/canyon. That's why I posted in the diesel section.
Poking around looking at my 2017 2.8 Colorado's calibration. Any guides or books to help me understand what I'm looking at? Mostly looking to satisfy curiosity, maybe tune once my warranty is over....
If I do a read on a vehicle, (2017 Colorado diesel) and the dealership runs an update on the PCM, will a 'Write Entire' re-flash the OS to the previous version?
Thanks.
Nothing so far.
Stock read of my truck:
2013 Ram 1500 Express 5.7, 6 speed transmission.
Does the 'reset adaptives' also reset the transmission adaptives, or strictly engine side?
As the topic says. Now that support is here for the 65RFE I'd like to firm up the shifts a bit, without harming anything. The truck is completely stock.
Thanks in advance.
I'm bumping this back up; would be tremendously helpful.
Is it possible your fuel system isn't keeping up? Pump not delivering enough fuel, or injectors maxed out?
Wow. Are you sure you have the right injectors?
Ah, scratch that about the other injectors. Found a set of LS3 injectors, got them, the height adapters, and the wiring adapters for around $200.
On a separate note; I do have the Calibrated Success DVD set. Completely forgot about it!
How accurate is the data in the included data disk?
DSteck, I found some hard EV1 to USCAR adapters. Any drawbacks to using them? I have no problems with modding wiring, but these seemed easier to use.
Also found top mounted spacers. They're from...
Ok, now to track down a set of them, along with the necessary adapters...
Ok, thanks DSteck. If I'm reading correctly I'll need harness adapters and some sort of spacer, correct?
I undertand what you're saying, but it doesn't help those of us in the process of learning to tune. *sigh*
Oakley - Thanks, I'll search again but I keep finding conflicting data. I'm also not too keen on the idea of having to use adapters and hack the wiring harness up.
LSxpwrdz - I'll keep you in...
Soooo... Nothing?
I'm planning my next round of upgrades to my '98 Camaro Z28. I currently have all the bolt on upgrades, and have my tune dialed in pretty close. Over the winter, I'm am planning to swap out the...
Is this still the be-all-end-all of automated auto trans shift point tuning? Any updates?
The converter unlocking and staying that way sounds like false misfire errors.
Why would you need to? 2.23 does everything that 2.22 does. Am I missing something?
Is Bluecat still around? Is there any further update on this sheet? Thanks!
Take that 2 degrees of added timing out of the tune. The '98 cars have a fairly aggressive timing table in stock form. You need to correct all the mechanical issues before you can really tune,...
