As far as DFCO, I did not disable this either. I only made adjustments to the entry and exit blend time to make it less abrupt of a change in timing.

I will be the first to admit my advice is questionable at best. You could be right about the timing tables. I am 100% self trained and everyone's combination is different so what works for one rarely...
It is normal for ignition time to dip anytime the load on the engine in increased as long as it is a smooth transition. You are looking for an abrupt change.
Any time you are driving with very light load on the engine, the timing is constantly transitioning between idle, run, and DFCO timing tables. Any large differences in these tables can cause this...
Running mine in open loop under 1500 rpm helped with the slight hesitation/buck as tip in as well, but this may not be the best for you depending on your combination.
I was having the same issue with my 2014 Z28 and it turned out being a combination of AC torque timing, idle under/overspend timing, and slight mismatch in idle, run, and DFCO timing tables. I found...
I have version 4.0.12
I tested the MAP and MAF circuits last night per the service manual instructions and all seems in line other than the manifold pressure at idle. The service manual says that...
Thanks for the input. I agree that its likely wiring issue but I have checked all ground locations listed in the service manual and checked grounds from ECM and BCM connectors with power probe and...
Laptop was dead so I didnt get any data logs, but I discovered that traction control seems to work in the competitive modes. Does not even try to work in normal mode.
Really strange issue and Im...
I will log some data today and make sure, but I know the MAP appears to be functioning correctly, and I replaced it with a OEM AC Delco unit just to be sure. Same issue with both sensors.
I dont...
I am experiencing an issue with StabilitTrak that I have never seen before, hopefully someone can shed some light on this.
The car is a 2014 Z28, E38 ECU, LS7 engine, had cam and headers when I...
I would rather not say who looked at my car. They are both good shops that I would trust to work on anything I have, this was just an unusual issue.
My stumble/hesitation was a combination of...
I just went through a lot of grief with a similar issue. If you can tell me a specific time that if happened in one of the logs you attached then I will see if its anything I encountered. The good...
I dont have the original file. The car was already tuned when I purchased it. I have only been doing a calibration only so I can try write entire when I get home today.
Thanks for the info.
Got this DTC today and would like to ask for input. from what I can find it is a EGR code but LS7 does not even have EGR so not sure. When the SES light came on I immediately tired to clear the code,...
It was definitely the AC torque table. thank you for the info.
This is very good info, I do have AC and it was on. I will log for this next chance I get. The first timing dip is the one that causes the jerking and bucking, so you are probably right.
Thank you
Been crazy busy with work and probably wont get back to this until this weekend.
The second on is coastdown and dfco timing. You can clearly see that timing pulled out gradually and you can see the O2 sensors go lean at the time dfco comes in.
The first timing dip is abrupt...
Went back to all the factory timing tables across the board, and the car drives 99% better in stop and go traffic. I expect i will have to pull some timing in the areas that the cam and headers...
just tested the DFCO as you described and still there. I am reasonably confident that the coastdown spark is the issue. I am going to do some further comparison to the original tables... Maybe I will...
I have 2014 Z28 that has headers and cam. This is the first drive by wire that I have done and for the most part it has gone smoothly. The car was already tuned when i got it, but it is night and day...
