I went to purchase the pdf and it just loads the Ultimate Ford HP EFI tunning guide in pay pal.
I figured I would include my tune incase anyone wanted to look at it for ideas or if they are having the same issues I was. The car is running fantastic. I do still have an occasional issue when in...
Any idea what was done to correct the problem? Might be helpful input to others, in a similar situation.
You have some serious timing surge in that log. There are spots were the TPS is a steady 8% and the RPM is changing by 4-500 RPM. I noticed your underspeed table is zeroed out and the overspeed table...
If it is truly 30 minutes, I am not sure if the tune has anything to do with it. I took a look and it is extremely clean, looks like a sensible tune. The only thing I would maybe question is the...
30 minutes or seconds???
Well Isaac finally moved out of the area. I tried the clean throttle reset, and went back to an old tune. The throttl closes a little bit more to 10%, but not the 7-8% that it is at ,when at low...
I would check for a vacuum leak. At 40% throttle you are showing 100kpa which indicates to the motor it is at WOT. So your fueling for WOT is kicking in at part throttle. Probably drowning it out
Need to get the VE table sorted, those spikes are going to set things a drift. I did not really see and idle area either for the car to settle into.
I am not sure if a manual car settles into the...
I just had a similar issue. I ended up disabling the TC until 37 mph. I am going to do a throttle clean reset once the rain passes by from Isaac
Yea I would think so. At 85 kpa your needing 60% of the required engine airflow just to keep the engine lit.
Also your Desired airflow max is set low which is probably limiting that overall...
Well if the ca, truly idles there. I am not sure runnin closed loop would buy anything. If one was to do closed loop I would do something like let it use the pe table for idle as an open loop and...
- timing is why your headers are glowing get the idle timing in the 20 s and then see what the fuel mixture is. Chances are it is not lean. You are seeing unburnt fuel go past the wb because it is...
If you idling around 85 Kpa I would check for a vacuum leak. I have seen 108 lsa cams in an LSx and even the wildest ones can manage 60 kpa. I have a fast 102 also and about a week ago I had to take...
Get rid of the dip in your VE table from 75Kpa on up. All of your timing tables should match at the idle point, if not this causes stumble. Also your transitions from idle to run are extremely steep.
Your timing tables could use some work. In your low octane you need an idle area. When the timing gets to aggressive it is reverting back to this table and you have now were for it to land so it...
Thanks for the tip I will try that
So I went back to on of my better running tunes with a stable idle and just change the TC enable speed to 37 enable and 35 disable. This seems to help tremendously. I have that region zeroed out so i...
If he is using the tune he posted, it is pretty good chance his VE table is directly responsible.
Your timing is pretty rough. The good news is that in your log the STIT is about spot on, so I would not change that. I am not sure what you did different.
I am going to include a tune I recently...
well I reduced the idle to 750 RPM. I took the throttle cracker to 22 to enable and 20 to disable. Then I reduced the the idle airflow numbers in gear by 5%. The car no longer cruises on its own. It...
Am I asking a question that is already answered somewhere else? Or am I so far off the reservation that this question is not worth the time to answer. I am on my IPad right now so I can't include the...
I would think your VE table needs adjusted your showing peak fuel load at 2800 RPM, and then your PE looks to be inverse of what it should be. The timing tables are also extremely ruff that can cause...
So I looked at you log files. You russ idle config shows a couple of large issues that are keeping you from idling your STIT was at -32.42 lb/hr when you shut it off. That is a huge amount. The car...
You are on the right track here. If your rag values are settling out, to about .5 g/s then look at the over and under speed array. It reads a little different. The rpm are the rpm you are under or...
