Would love to know who it is. I've seen some terrible 6L80/90 tunes from big name workshops country wide. They treat it like a 4L60/65 tune.

You can use your idle overspeed and underspeed correction tables. Flat line the 20 - 80rpm cells to say +5* and -5* so that the adjustments are more aggressive. It might need +/-10*, see how you go.
