I have an 02 WS6, it's my personal car. I bought it from a friend of mine. The car has been previously tuned in speed density. I have no idea who tuned it. There do not seem to be any engine mods to...
Never done any Dodge tuning with HP stuff. Have a customer with a 2012 Ram 1500 5.7 who wants to do a cylinder shut off delete kit.
What do I need to modify in his tune to correct for that?
...
No idea... this tune was in my car when I bought it.
Ok... here is the file dump out of my 02 WS6. If anyone feels like taking a look at it and seeing if there's anything that doesn't look right before I start tinkering with it, that would be...
I'm primarily a Ford tuner, but I recently bought a WS6 02 Trans Am that has been tuned full time speed density (there's no MAF either). I am curious what people's thoughts are on this method for GM...
Got a buddy with a 2000 Suburban, that has added electric fans and needs the PCM programmed for them. I'm not really a GM guy, but I think I recall that there is no e-fan PCM control on that year for...
Ahhh...I see that now. Thank you! :)
I don't do much GM stuff, so maybe I'm just missing it somewhere... but how do you correct for a different tire size?
In my VCM Editor, I went to the speedo tab, and all I see is a "trans revs per...
I've really been liking what I'm seeing with the features of the AEM fail safe gauge setup.
Ok, it's 2020. Lots of air fuel gauges out there on the market. I would like everyone's input on what they like to use, both for tuning, as well as installing in customer's cars.
In my line of...
I don't do a lot of GM tuning, but I have someone with a 2002 6.0 Silverado who is looking to improve his fuel mileage. He's owned this truck since new, and said it has always gotten horrible fuel...
Not yet. It's being worked on, but it's not high on the priority list.
Hmmm....those are all the same exact values, with the exception of minimum pulsewidth. The chart shows 0.599, but the value in my software shows 0.000599.
Thanks Veee.....I'll compare that to what I have been using :)
Thanks for your reply :)
I don't believe it's a dashpot issue, as there wasn't a dashpot issue before changing injector size (on multiple vehicles).
I'm almost certain, that the issue is I've...
bump
Hanging idle seems to be a common issue when running FRPP/Deka 80 lb injectors, especially on older EEC5 PCMs. Anyone have suggestions on how to resolve that? Thanks in advance.
So if I just change the stoich AF scalar, I don't need to change any of the fuel table values?
What's the preferred E85 stoich value?
What is target A/F for E85 for a supercharged application?
Going to be doing an E85 tune for an older EECV vehicle. This will be my first E85 tune. I have already tuned the vehicle for pump gas, so there is an existing custom tune that works great.
Does...
Thank you everyone. The issue WAS that the two outside wires needed to be swapped. This 2010 Silverado has to be wired in the Gen 4 pinout, even though Mitchell shows it with the Gen 3 pinout.
Yeah, looks like B.
What's got me confused, is that I have a return signal back to the PCM. I've got 1.9 volts on the signal return wire.
I used whatever TSP sent me in the kit.
I have that same pic on my Mitchell. Those wires are going to their corresponding letters, however the actual sensor pinout I found has B in the middle.
Looking at the sensor on the motor, I have it wired Dark blue (5v) at the bottom, BRN (ground) in the middle, and Dark Blue/white (signal return) at the top of the sensor. The truck is a 2010.
This is a 2010 5.3 Silverado.... is that Gen 3 or Gen 4?
Swap the reference wire and the return signal wire?
Have you run into this before?
