The problem was slow decel. Now the problem is the rpm drops below idle too far.

Zero mods so far. Stock everything. I’ll attach a tune when I get on my laptop.

So, the idle was hanging at 2k rpm with the dashpot set to .75

I changed the cells back to 0 and it drops back to idle fine, but it drops below idle a little too far before catching itself.

Any advice on dashpot settings?

I disabled the torque decel switch. Now the RPM drops faster but it drops below idle now. I know I need to make adjustments to the dashpot but am not sure what does what.

I just got my swap completed enough to test drive. The engine is really slow to drop RPM when I let off the throttle. I tried some settings that were recommended in another thread (dashpot at .75)...

Got it fired up! I wired the RCM back in. Now on to my other questions:

It?s a 2006 mustang set up for lucky dog endurance racing. I have the fpdm and was planning to use it. I guess I can try adding in the rcm. I just have to splice about 25 wires.
