The 2 step limits your starting line rpm while activated (via a pushbutton usually). I do not adjust the tune for the 2 step. The data will verify your 2 step is working but the air/fuel ratio data...

I do my burnout in manual 3rd with the linelock on. The max difference in wheel speeds is 98mph rear/3 mph front...

Keep in mind that trans calculated gear ratio has nothing to do with torque converter slip.

It is simply trans input shaft rpm divided by output shaft rpm.

I'm thinking that Ford designed in limits for the maximum amount of error in trans calculated gear ratio. The purpose being to extend transmission life.

I looked at your log. I think it is definitely related to trans calculated gear ratio.

In both instances of the rpm limit on your log, your commanded gear is 6th.

At the track now... Here's a clean pass (no TQ source 4). Log is a 3rd gear only burnout then a full 1/4 mile pass.

I just went out on the street and tested a burnout and launch, logging with the VCM scanner.

In the log, I did a burnout starting in manual 1, shifted to manual 2, then manual 3. At the beginning...

I'm racing this weekend. I've never tried to log with the HP software (only the SCT X4), but I'll see if I can get it working.

On this log, we also see torque source 4 triggered right at the 4000 rpm mark.

Watching your log is interesting. It starts with the commanded gear as "unknown: 01" and stays like that until you hit 4000 rpms, at which time it reads "1st". From there we see it go to "unknown:...

Well, after about 15 passes without this limiter popping up, it mysteriously appeared in second round of eliminations today. Needless to say it cost me the race. Looking forward to a fix for this!!!!

My Reverse limit is 5000

I raced this weekend making 7 passes. Never had the issue. Car did spin a few times out of the hole, but never went to torque source 4. It's annoying as it seems so random on my car.
