didn't realize it was a competition?
tint, paint the gold bowties , some nice light weight black 15x8 wheels and a tune. perfect DD.
I bought a boosted miata recently and am already missing the torgue and power band and way better gearing of the LNF. I've already got an RX7 rear in it and have seriously been considering this for...
I wish it was, I'd build a MPG monster. Pretty damn sure all the S-series guys are still on mega-squirt.
I tried this once on my LNF, I even added boost to the zero load column. It would probably work ok for a drag only tune if someone with more knowledge than me messed with it. It had boost at the line...
so, your saying it will adjust things such as fuel more accurately when the computer knows exactly whats going on, right?
Thanks! So I guess MAF lb/mn is a good judge. I got a 30.49 on a second gear pull at the end of the log. That seems pretty good for all stock parts.
OK, another question. What's the best way to track your changes and see if your doing something right? MAF lb/mn or maybe something like cyl airmass? What's a good number to shoot for in whatever...
all good advice, thanks guys. I'll for sure keep it safe though.
My issue is the hottest time of day also tends to be busy on the roads or I'm working. I'm confused why you guys wouldn't make better use of this table? It would make sense to me if I tune one night...
Is there a certain amount of timing you guys pull for a certain ambient temp change? I do most of my tuning at night and get my timing dialed in perfectly, then by the next afternoon I'm knocking...
Did you "write entire" when you went back to stock?
:bigshock:
Is this typical of a his tune??!! Wonder if anyone has ever done an oil analysis on one of his tunes? gotta be fuel getting past the rings at that rate.
36 MPG average on the DIC on the drive to work today. It's about 10 miles of 60mph then 4 miles of stop and go and a quick few mile of highway. Very boring drive going for MPG though.
Not e85 btw
the cam tables work pretty well for 93 also, that and working my cruise spark timing has netted me a few MPG. Do you think lowering the DAL during cruise would help?
Anyone wanna give some tips on helping the throttle delay? I've been trying a bunch of things to all the ETC tables and nothing has made a bit of difference.
he's at 20 psi he was referring to his track tune not autox.
open the histogram then goto load histogram then open the ones I want in there. Think I finally figured it out.
So, what do I need to change? I loaded the config back what do I need to do to get the histograms right again?
This histogram thing seems pretty simple to most but I just can't figure this crap out for some reason. I was using a config someone posted on here and all my histograms were working fine. I was...
Wish someone knew a trick , 12 days til my tag is dead.
Having the same issue, I've been waiting a week for the evap purge test! Just flashed back to stock wondering if that had something to do with it. I'll try and disable it. Thanks for posting!
Yup, and have never seen any knock up top. I'm gonna keep going up and see where it starts showing KR then back it off a degree and go real conservative on the IAT vs spark table to be safe on track....
Has to be installed from the factory not the dealer. It would be like adding a trd supercharger to a scion and still running h-stock
