So then I guess I am good. The trans did have a bright orange tag that said it had a dyno test cal in it which IIRC we discussed before had the necessary bootloader to get an HPTuner...

So got everything installed, connected the dongle, opened my read out from yesterday morning, hit write, set ECM to "Do Not Write", set TCM to "Write Entire" and this happened:

First as for flashing the new TECM - just connect, do a vehicle read, open my previous file...

Are there different reads ie: full read, cal only, etc? When we are tuning BMWs for example there is a difference between a full ECU readout vs a cal only read. We almost NEVER do a full read...
