I'll try and disconnect the line and see if it's the culprit, if it is in fact the culprit, tuning around it, I'm not sure how to do.

I'm 100% the math is right to get the torque values I got, I am not 100% that the resulting number is correct. I noticed the commanded torque drops below the actual torque right before the issues...
Whoops, sorry about that, try it now.
The IMRCs are adjusted to open at .35 airload and close at .30. Since the throttle closure is occuring and dropping load below that threshold, they are...
Hey guys,
I am fighting with an odd throttle oscillation issue on this 2019 D1X car I am tuning. Setup is as follows:
D1X Stage 2 Blower - 4.75" pulley - about 11-12psi at 7500
FIC 1000cc...
That is very interesting. Murfie and I have discussed a lot in the past, dude is a genius. I'd believe anything he states.

Hi Guys,
It's been a while since I've been on here but I experienced some issues recently on a few cars where they seem to behave with an odd idle, and I wanted to collect some information on...
Latest log. Corrected fuel injector data and properly setup the fuel system setup. The surging has changed slightly, I feel like now, I am being directed into a torque or load calc error considering...
This is the original calibration I posted.

When you say you adjusted the SD tables, you adjusted the offset, slope, and quandratic term for this? After reading this a couple of times, it got me thinking. I compared the load calculations and...
That's what I was thinking. Following the log, the throttle closure and timing advance disruption occurs before the trims start to go out of wack.

The regulator is boost referenced at base pressure that is set at 65psi, referenced to stay static at 65psi. I have increased poll speed for the WB and the STFT and LTFTs to read more data. When the...
I am going to review the torque tables just to be safe. It is possible it is throttle body related, I have tested multiple different data for the twin blade, with no luck. The owner has a big name...
No go on the solution. What I stumbled upon is what was previously mentioned about the fuel system and being setup properly for a return. I did have the incorrect data in place for a return style, it...
May have found the problem, will update after testing...
Kris
Thank you for the response. Since my post I have tried a few different adjustments, some reflecting what you stated, some not, with not much luck. I have a new course of action I will attempt in the...
Bump!
I tried different oil viscosity to test this theory months ago, did not change the outcome unfortunately.

Good morning guys,
I am hoping someone can help me point out the problem or obvious that I am missing or a solution to my issues. I am tuning this 2012 Mustang GT that has a Ford Racing 2.3L...
Rick, how do your flow numbers correspond to your latest (493) dyno pull. On the first log you posted, you seem to hit a wall around 6700-7000, as MAF does not increase. Typically when we tune VCT,...
No sir, never found a solution. My theory is that the piston slap I was having caused by out of round/ tolerance cylinder bores, and the material worn off from the cylinder and or piston was...
Changing the valve events is what you need to do to clean that up. Advancing on the intake and exhaust cam will aid this. Your idle needs to be at 20 intake, 0 exhaust to be smooth.

More idle nonsense. I can't seem to get it resolved. Waiting for the Optimal Stability Distance tables to be added, but that won't fix it. IT SHOULDN'T HAVE TO BE THE FIX. About to bring it in, at a...
I tried, it doesn't listen. Reconfigured the load table a load over what it idles at and commanded only MP1, it refuses to listen. Whatever is wrong I feel is a more in depth issue than the...
That is the VCT mapped point table for optimal stability, not the distance table previously mentioned. The distance is the table that lets it deviate from selected mapped points. Which doesn't appear...
