So, when I re-enable mas airflow sensor control, it's still rich on decel.
My theory is, I broke the sensor by dropping it (yeah, I dropped it) or it's too close to the 90deg bend going into the...

So, when I re-enable mas airflow sensor control, it's still rich on decel.
My theory is, I broke the sensor by dropping it (yeah, I dropped it) or it's too close to the 90deg bend going into the...
So car runs amazing in speed density. I had to adjust alot of the VVE tables, but it didn't take much. No rich decel on SD. I suspect I coated the maf with oil by accidently losing the scavenge pump...
You are correct on the sensors. I have all three connected. Also, I caught the table you mentioned. it's been corrected with no change to the rich deceleration. Thank you for pointing that out...
I'll give that a shot. Thanks for the ideas.
Ahh, thanks. I'll have to search on how to extend the VE. I have no idea.
So, I'm looking to convert my file to a 3 Bar SD OS and my stock file was on an old hard drive that failed and I don't have access to it anymore.
A brief search shows that I'm screwed and need to...
So, LSAs have two Map sensors and one Baro sensor. The three bar is a boost reference and the other 1.5 bar (I said 2 bar and was incorrect) goes pre throttle body and doesn't see boost with the...
So, I just reconnected the Map sensor that was on the LSA snout to a vacuum source on the LS3 manifold. No difference.
This has got me stumped. Didn't have a problem with the LSA blower, but now since I've moved to twins and an LS3 intake manifold I have a rich deceleration problem. I've ran into this before and it...
It's under Engine Diagnostics - Misfire tab. You can disable the misfire detection by maxing out all sub tabs for Revolution Mode, Cylinder Mode and SCD Mode. If you want to desensitize and not...
You also need injectors.
Please get a wideband O2 and linked up with a reputable tuner. There are a few solid remote tuners, Justin White and Pat G. come to mind.
What CAI did you install? If its a 4.5" or larger, you need to scale the maff completely.
You don't even have the ability to command 100% duty cycle, try changing that and your high flow limits. My guess is you are still using the FSCM and it's freaking out when pressure hits 70psi and...
Next time your out data logging, do a third gear WOT pull and be sure to monitor all the usual parameters as well as fuel pressure and fuel pump duty cycle. I'd be interested to see what the FPCM is...
Steve,
I just went though your last log. I noticed your oil pressure was low during the WOT session in that log. At almost 5,000 RPM your oil pressure was 33psi. IMO, this is a bit concerning...
Steve,
Is that last tune and log still current? Do you know how to adjust your maff to get your LTFTs closer to 0? Also, if you don't have one already, get a wideband so you can better tune...
Are you using an aux pump? If so, log a 3-4 pull with all the normal parameters plus fuel pump commanded duty cycle.
No problem. When you get into adjusting things in the FPCM, hit me up if you need help....especially if you are using an aux pump and running E-85.
Connect your HPT to the car and do a full read. When you go to write you'll see the FPCM.....it will have a link for you to click on and log in and pay for the credit.
To get my FPCM to not dial my stock pumps back when my aux pump kicks in, this is what I've done to my FPCM settings. FYI, this is a 7.0L CTS-V with an LSA 1.9L blower making 12PSI. Stock in tank...
I would add, roll into the throttle a little smoother when tuning. You are timing limited when you first roll in, either torque management or traction control limiting your timing to 10deg. Once you...
If you have surging on start up you can increase your idle air min tables. This is more for cammed cars, but it may apply to you. You may need to adjust start up air tables as well.
Yeah, that info would probably help a bit.
It's a CTS-V with stock in tank twin pumps. I actually just experimented with adding 20% to the open loop duty cycle tables and that fixed my issues...
Great thread!
So, I've been dealing with my pump DC not being high enough to support the fuel demand for a 427 with a 1.9L at 1/2-3/4 throttle. When I'm at 3/4 throttle my pump duty cycle is in...
